This standard driver is included in the card delivery and it is possible to get the newest driver version free of charge from our homepage at any time. There are no additional SDK fees for the supported programming languages and standard 3rd party product drivers. The driver has an unique interface for all boards within one series allowing an easy switch from one card type to another without big changes in the software. The different functionality of the boards is realized with the help of board specific software registers.

Older Windows Versions

The 32 bit and 64 bit driver version for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003 is fixed at a version and gets not more updates. The latest driver version is not available for these operating systems. This effect is due to a changed signature policy by Microsoft with the older operating system not supporting the required latest driver signature structures.

If you need to use one of the older operations systems listed below please check with Spectrum whether your product is supported. In general no product or option released after 2017 is supported by these drivers
