MC.3132: 8 x 12 bit data acquisition at 25 MS/s

Spectrum introduces the fastest 8 channel 12 bit A/D converter boards for CompactPCI. The new MC.3132 has 8 simultaneous analog channels with a sample rate of 25 MS/s. The internal sync bus allows the configuration of multi-channel systems with up to 128 channels all running simultaneously with 25 MS/s.

The MC.3132 is the flagship of a series of 12 bit acquisition boards. There are also versions available with lower speed grades like 10 MS/s or 1 MS/s or less channels (2 or 4).

The acquired data is written in an 8 MSample up to 256 MSample large on-board memory and can be processed after the data recording in a comfortable matter. Alternatively it is possible to read out and process data online only limited by the PCI bus speed. As an option there are several different recording modes available like Gated Sampling or Multiple Recording or Timestamping.

All these boards offer a wide variety of trigger modes. This includes trigger detection by level and edge, voltage window, trigger pulsewidth or steepness. As an unique feature these boards allow the connection of different trigger sources by a logical OR.

The powerful low-noise analog part of the board has a high bandwidth of 12.5 MHz for all of its 8 different input ranges.

The MC.31xx boards are all completely supported by SBench and are delivered together with drivers for Windows 98/ME/NT/2000 and Linux. Software drivers are available for third party software like LabVIEW, DASYLab, VEE or MATLAB.

All Spectrum products include a 2 years warranty, a free full version of SBench 5, a free SDK for C/C++, Basic, Delphi, lifetime free driver updates and free support.
