MX.70xx Family

The MX.70xx series of fast digital I/O boards offer a resolution between 16 bit and 32 bit with a maximum sampling rate of 125 MS/s (60 MS/s). The on-board memory of up to 128 MByte could be completely used for recording or replaying digital data. Alternatively the MX.70xx could be used in FIFO mode. Then data is transferred on-line to PC memory or hard disk. The internal standard synchronisation bus allows synchronisation of several MX.xxxx boards. Therefore the MX.70xx board could be used as an enlargement to analogue boards.

Memory

Standard memory 16 MSamples
Option memory upgrade to 32 MS, 64 MS or 128 MS on-board memory
FIFO Mode: continous data transfer up to 100 MB/s [more...]
Singleshot Output: The programmed memory is generated one time
Continous Output: After trigger event the programmed memory is generated continuously in a loop

Trigger

External Trigger: Input or output of external TTL signal [more...]
Pulsewidth Trigger: Trigger on defined pulsewidth [more...]
Option Multiple Recording: Recording of trigger events with high repetition rates and very small dead time [more...]
Option Multiple Replay: Output of several segments with short dead-time [more...]
Option Gated Sampling: Recording controlled by gate signal [more...]
Option Gated Replay: Replay controlled by gate signal [more...]
Option Timestamp: Time stamping of trigger events [more...]

Clock

External Clock: Input or output of sampling clock [more...]
Reference Clock: Used to generate sampling clock [more...]

PXI Bus

The PXI bus extension offers a lot of pre-defined lines on the backplane for clock and trigger synchronisation between different boards.

The Spectrum card supports these PXI features:

10 MHz Reference Clock: Could be used as base for samplerate generation
Star Trigger: supported as trigger source for the board
Trigger Bus: Direct card synchronisation with the integrated trigger bus

Software Support

Standard drivers for Windows and Linux as well as examples for C/C++, Delphi and Basic are included in the delivery [more...]
SBench: Comfortable measurement software for windows [more...]
Option LabVIEW drivers: Libraries and examples for LabVIEW[more...]
Option DASYLab driver: Direct access to cards with DASYLab [more...]
Option MATLAB driver: Universal driver for all cards [more...]
Option VEE driver: Libraries and examples for Agilent VEE [more...]
