MATLAB

The math software packet MATLAB from The Mathwork Inc. is supported with the help of an universal driver for all boards. The driver supports MATLAB starting with version 5.0. The link of MATLAB to the Spectrum boards is made with the help of the available Spectrum drivers. The MATLAB driver itself consists of a set of DLLs converting the functionality of the driver for MATLAB. This DLLs only act as a link between MATLAB and the driver. Each function of the driver is put in a single DLL.

This allows the complete functionality of the board and the driver without any restriction. Also future board versions or driver updates may be used without any change to the MATLAB driver. In addition an example for each kind of board is delivered with the driver. This example may be used as a base for own programming.
